Aggravated Assault Left Man With Serious Injuires!

An unidentified 37-year-old Hispanic man suffered a gunshot wound, along with other injuries, according to a Russellville Police Department report. The victim was flown to St. Vincent Medical Center in Little Rock.

Russellville Police responded to the man’s home at 2109 E. 20th St. at 7:13 p.m. on March 7, 2012. Pope County dispatchers indicated that two suspects left the scene armed with baseball bats and a handgun, but no arrests had made yet.
The incident, which was classified as an aggravated assault, is still under investigation and more details are expected to be released as more information becomes available.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT UPDATE

On March 7th at 7:13 PM Russellville Police responded to a call of a shooting at 2109 East 20th Street. At the home Officers found a 37 Year Old Hispanic male with serious injuries. He was transported by Pope County EMS to Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was later transported by medical flight to Saint Vincent Medical Center.


The Victim suffered a gunshot wound along with other injuries. No suspects are in custody at the time of this Press Release. This case is currently under investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
